Welcome to our sixth installment of “Getting to Know Your Cloud 9 Staffers” – Holiday Edition!  This week we are featuring 20 questions with Stef!!!

1) What’s your name &  job title at Cloud 9?

My name is Estefania but the girls call me Stef, I’m the Director of Sales and Customer Experience.

2) How long have you worked at Cloud 9?

I am the one of the newer additions to the team. I’ve been working here since August 14th.

3) What’s your favorite part of your job?

I have a few favorite moments; I enjoy the way we come together creatively. I like how Jeanine is open to new ideas whether it’s helping with a new set, or helping personalize client orders and gift baskets! My second favorite part about working at the studio is being able to help clients choose and customize their favorite portrait images! I love seeing our clients smile and enjoy the experience we offer! It brings joy to my heart being a part of their lifetime memories!

4) What are your hobbies?

My hobbies include cooking, painting and helping animals!

5) What’s your favorite holiday movie?

I have two favorite holiday movies; The Nightmare Before Christmas takes me back to my childhood when teachers played movies at the beginning of a holiday break! And my second choice would be The Polar Express, because I love the moral of the story!

6) What’s your favorite holiday song?

“It’s Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas” & “Let It Snow”

7) What’s your favorite Christmas gift as a child?

Hmm. I remember when I received a robot dog from Santa! I will never forget!

8) Favorite holiday tradition?

We build a large Nativity scene that we gather around from the 16th of December till the 24th . During this time we pray and sing Christmas carols; family and friends are welcome. It truly is a good time; we use tambourines and maracas to help us sing along with the music.

9) Wrapping paper or gift bags?

Wrapping paper for sure! My mom is amazing at wrapping presents shaped like large candy! We love buying different kind of ribbons, present tags and stickers!

10) Real or Fake tree?

At home we have a 22-year- old fake tree and I love it. Last year I had my own apartment and I bought my 1st real tree, the smell was amazing but very high maintenance! I like both!

11) Clear lights or colored?

I enjoy white/clear lights, it compliments all Christmas decor.

12) Star or Angel tree topper?

Both are beautiful, but if I had to decide on one I would say a star!

13) Gingerbread or sugar cookies?

Sugar cookies all the way!!! Mmm

14) Hot Cocoa, Egg Nog, or Apple Cider?

Fun and weird fact… I’ve never had egg nog or apple cider…But I am open to trying them out! Hot cocoa (Colombian style) is delicious!

15) What are your favorite holiday foods?

Natilla con buñuelos (Colombian Christmas custard and tiny round cheese fritters)

16) Peppermint Lover or Hater?

Not a hater, just not a fan!

17) Open presents Christmas Eve or morning?

MORNING! The anticipation is greater, and the pictures are candid!

18) What is your favorite activity of Peppermint the Elf?

Before I became part of the Cloud 9 team I heard stories about “the elf”… Now that I know Peppermint I love the way he randomly shows
up in the bubble gum jar in my office!

19) What is your favorite part of the holidays at the studio?

This is my 1st holiday at the studio… So far my favorite part has been the awesome reindeer shirts Jeanine ordered for the team, the
holiday music and décor & seeing all the families dress up beautifully for their Christmas sessions!

20) Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer (without looking it up?)

Rudolph, Vixen, Dancer, Prancer, Cupid, Blitzen, and there is where my brain stops!
