There’s no need to decide what you want before your session. After you see your photographs, you can choose the portraits and artwork you love most.
A Few Things You Might Be Wondering
Who can be included in a Grandparent & Me portrait session?
Grandparent & Me sessions can include one or more grandparents and grandchildren of any age. Adult children and other family members can be included, too. We’ll talk about your family during your Discovery Call and help you decide who you’d like to photograph together.
What if my grandchildren are energetic or shy?
That’s completely okay. Children don’t need to sit still or perform for us. We give them time to warm up and use play, conversation and gentle direction to capture their personalities and the relationship they have with their grandparents.
What should we wear for our portraits?
We’ll help you plan clothing before your session. Rather than making everyone match, we usually recommend choosing colors and clothing that coordinate and feel comfortable. During your Discovery Call, we can talk about what will photograph beautifully with your family and the style of portraits you’d like to create.
What if all of my grandchildren don’t live nearby?
You don’t need to wait until every family member can be together. We can photograph the grandchildren who are here now, or plan your session around a future visit when more of the family will be in the Wesley Chapel or Tampa Bay area.
Do I need to have a date picked before scheduling a Discovery Call?
No. You can start with a Discovery Call before coordinating everyone’s schedules. We’ll learn who you’d like to include and talk through timing so you know what to plan with your family.
What if I’m uncomfortable being photographed?
You’re not alone. Many people feel more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. We’ll guide you throughout the session so you don’t have to worry about posing or knowing what to do. Your job is simply to enjoy being with the people you love.
Is the studio accessible if someone in our family has mobility needs?
If you or a family member has a mobility or accessibility need, please tell us during your Discovery Call. We’ll talk through what you need and make a plan so your portrait experience is as comfortable as possible.
How much do Grandparent & Me portraits cost?
Portraits are purchased separately after you see your images. Print Collections start at $375, Digital Collections start at $695, and Albums & Wall Art start at $895. We’ll explain the options before your session so you can decide what feels right for your family.
