Graham’s mom called me a little over a year ago to tell me the good news that she was about to have their 3rd baby and to look out … they were coming to the studio this time with all 3 kids! Needless to say I was excited as one of the reasons I love owning a studio (going on 15 years now!) is getting to know families year after year and becoming a part of their traditions. Graham is the 3rd baby in this family that has come through our baby’s first year plan and their home is fully of the art we have created together.
When a younger sibling comes to the studio it is a fun mix of “what do we want to do the same as before” vs “what should we try that is new to fit their personality”. I find it is important to maintain some similarity because it is always interesting to see what each sibling looked like at a specific time/age/stage, but also to make sure each baby has a unique portrait and experience!
We just wrapped up baby Graham’s one year milestone plan and are designing his custom album. Once that is completed I will update the blog post with the finished album. In the mean time, enjoy his amazing cake smash framed collage and also cookie monster images!
