Hi, I’m Jeanine McLeod, founder of Cloud 9 Studios, a family and children’s photography studio in Wesley Chapel, just north of Tampa. I’m a proud Gator fan, coffee lover, and mom to two amazing kids, Eryn and James.
My “Why”
I help busy moms fill their homes with portraits that tell the unfolding story of their children’s childhood — so every glance reminds them that their family is connected, their home is filled with love, and they’re doing an incredible job as a mom.
Because when a mother walks through her home, surrounded by portraits of her children, she’s not just seeing pictures — she’s feeling calm. A quiet peace that whispers, “We’ve built a beautiful life.”
Those portraits reflect the laughter she’s nurtured, the love she’s grown, and the children who are becoming everything she hoped they would be. Even on the busiest, most chaotic days, they bring her back to center — to pride, gratitude, and the steady truth that she’s done well.
That’s what I want every mom to feel in her home: a deep sense of pride, calm, and love in the story she’s created.
From Engineer to Storyteller
Before I became a photographer, I was an engineer, designing systems and working on projects that even ended up in the Smithsonian Institution! But while traveling the world, I realized that what inspired me most wasn’t technology … it was people.
In 2006, I founded Cloud 9 Studios, blending my engineer’s precision with my love of storytelling. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the honor of photographing families across the Tampa Bay area, watching babies grow into confident young adults and parents rediscover how deeply connected they are.
My greatest joy is seeing those portraits displayed throughout their homes … in the hallways, living rooms, and bedrooms where everyday life unfolds … serving as a living reflection of love, belonging, and calm.
Going Through Life Together
Cloud 9 Studios was never meant to be a one-time experience. I believe in going through life with my clients — celebrating every chapter and every milestone along the way.
From that first birthday cake smash to senior portraits years later, I want you to know that you always have a home here … a place where your family’s story continues to unfold.
Every session becomes another moment of connection, another reminder that your family’s love is strong, and that the life you’ve built together is something to be proud of.
Over time, your portraits will tell that full story … sprinkled throughout your home like little anchors of calm and joy, quietly reminding you that you’ve done something beautiful.
What Makes Cloud 9 Studios Different
At Cloud 9, we don’t just take pictures — we create experiences that help families slow down, reconnect, and breathe.
Whether it’s your baby’s first-birthday milestone, your children’s magical themed adventure, or your family’s holiday portraits, every experience is joyful, heartfelt, and effortless.
Our clients often tell me that seeing their portraits displayed throughout their home brings them a sense of peace … a gentle reminder, on the hardest days, that love lives here.
That’s what I want for every mom: to walk through her home and feel surrounded by calm, pride, and the unmistakable warmth of family connection.
A Place You Can Always Come Home To
Our studio was created to feel just like the homes we photograph for … full of laughter, warmth, and genuine connection. Kids can be themselves. Parents can exhale.
From our first conversation to the moment your portraits are displayed in your home, every step is guided with care, creativity, and heart.
Because the years fly by, but your story never ends … and I’d be honored to help you tell it, again and again.
So grab a cup of coffee (or maybe your second one!) and let’s create something beautiful together.
I can’t wait to meet your family, celebrate the love you’ve built, and help you fill your home with portraits that bring calm, connection, and pride to every day.
