How do you get to Neverland? “Second star on the right and straight on ’til morning!”
Classic children’s literature has always been a source of inspiration for my photography. Through the story of Peter Pan we are reminded that there is a childlike sense of adventure and wonder inside all of us; and we don’t want to let it go. As children we dream, imagine and go on adventures. As we become adults we lose the ability to let our minds change the world around us. As a parent, I long to keep my children believing the world is their never ending adventure for as long as possible.
This year I wanted to celebrate the thought of childlike wonder and imagination by guiding kids on their very own Peter Pan adventure.
We launched the Neverland Collection because one session is not long enough to tell this epic story. The Neverland Collection will take place over 4 sessions in 2019 and you can get the full calendar and details here.
On April 13th we take the studio outdoors for “Lost Boys” – the first session in our 4-part series that will take your children on a Peter Pan adventure.
Your children can either dress up as Wendy and the other children who are going on the adventure, or the Lost Boys and Peter Pan as the kids in Neverland. Whichever story you choose will determine the look and feel of your finished album.
In our Lost Boys setting we will have a tree fort for them to climb and play in, swords, bows and arrows, treasure, maps, and many details that will allow them to play and imagine they are on this epic adventure.
Session Details:
- Hour Long Photography Adventure Session
- $150 Session Fee (if you have signed up for the Neverland Collection, this fee is waived)
- Costume “accessories” provided, please chat with us about the details
- Custom made Neverland map to take home after the adventure
- Collections are sold separately with packages starting at $350
