Magic of Childhood Portrait Experiences are designed to honor that … the passions that light them up right now … and turn them into artwork that lets them see how deeply they are loved and understood.
Whether it’s for a birthday or just because, this is a portrait experience built around who your child is in this chapter.

4 Simple Steps to Experience a Magic of Childhood Session
1. We discover what your child loves most
Through a simple planning conversation, we learn what lights your child up — their favorite worlds, characters, stories, or games.
There is very little we can’t create with time and thoughtful design.
2. We build the world
Using custom backdrops, props, accessories, and sometimes digital compositing, we design a setting where your child can fully step into their imagination.
Some themes include costumes or accessories — all discussed during planning.
(Licensed characters are not provided, but inspired worlds absolutely are.)
3. Your child gets to play
Sessions last about 30 minutes and are intentionally relaxed and playful. No pressure. No forced smiles. Just joy, curiosity, and confidence unfolding naturally.
4. You choose how to enjoy your portraits
You may:
View and order your portraits immediately after the session, or
Schedule a design consultation on a later date
Either way, you’ll see your child, and yourself, with fresh eyes.
And if your child loves something not listed here? That’s exactly where the magic begins.

We have many themes we’ve created before, but Magic of Childhood Sessions are intentionally open-ended. During your discovery call, we’ll talk through what your child loves and design something custom just for them.
Can you create something very specific?
In most cases — yes. With a little lead time and creative planning, there is very little we can’t do.
How do digital portraits work?
Some themes include digital compositing, while others use physical sets or a blend of both. The final look depends on the world we’re creating, and we’ll explain exactly what to expect during planning.
Do you offer costumes?
Some themes include costumes or accessories. This is always discussed during the discovery call so expectations are clear.
What products are most popular?
Wall composites and albums are the most loved — they allow families to celebrate multiple moments from the session and enjoy the artwork every day.
What ages are these sessions for?
Children of all ages — and even adults with active imaginations. We’ve photographed grandparents as wizards and pirates, and we loved every second.
What if I’m not sure which session is right for us?
That’s very common. During your discovery call, we’ll talk through your child’s age, personality, and what matters most to you.
